Understaffed and over stretched, St Michael’s Hospice required a freelance marketer to set up, organise and run their existing marketing and social media work, as well as creating and implementing new plans, whilst they recruited for new marketing team members.
During my time here I created the public facing messages and strap line for their main marketing campaign, “It’s about living”. This was a campaign that was set to change the public perception of the hospice, from a place that you went to end your life, into a place that you went to improve the quality of life.
Supported with traditional and digital marketing techniques, I had 24 pieces of PR and two radio interviews placed within local and regional press in two months.
Along with creating new campaigns and running the on going marketing support services, I was also tasked with putting in place plans to make the on-going marketing processes as smooth and easy to implement as possible for the new team members.
