Working for the UX and Design agency, Clutch, we were tasked with developing a new website for Ohio‘s Foster Care and Adoption (FC&A) agency on the ODX platform. The FC&A wanted to use this opportunity to increase the awareness of the urgency of fostering and adoption needs in the child welfare system in Ohio.
Acting as the Content and Digital Strategist, my role was primarily focused within the discovery and strategy phases of the project, before handing over to the designers, developers and copy writing team.
My initial work involved working alongside an internal research team to uncover the wants and needs of the foster and adoption agencies, the state agency and the prospective parents, this was primarily through creative workshops and one on one stakeholder interviews. Once the key requirements were understood, my role took on a more content heavy direction, creating the content strategy, editorial list and the sites Information Architecture.
This project involved working within a restricted environment due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter, government restrictions and the parameters set in place by the ODX platform.
